Agricultural Heritage Center (AHC) - The Agricultural Heritage Center is located at 8348 Ute Hwy, Longmont, CO 80503 (big barns near an open field)

Parking - There are (2) parking lots available for attendees. We encourage attendees to carpool where possible. Bicycles can be parked and locked in the main parking areas but must be left outside the AHC main grounds. Attendees with mobility challenges and/or families with small children to park at the North Lot. 


Guest Lot  - The Guest Lot is recommended for those with mobility challenges, small children, or families coming from the North & South East regions (Berthoud and Denver Metro area) located off Ute Highway and just outside the building visible from the highway. Please look for parking signs and volunteers to direct you to an appropriate spot.


Secondary Lot - The secondary Lot is located south of the main property. Access is through a dirt road and is recommended for folks coming from the North & South West regions (Golden, Boulder, Estes Park). Please look for parking signs and volunteers to direct you to an appropriate spot

Staff, Vendor, Volunteer, and Contractor Parking & Loading 

Staff, Vendors, Workshop leaders can park along the private" access road to the west of the Agricultural Heritage Center.  It is directly connected and accessed to the highway. Check in is required at the vendor check in before entry.

****PLEASE NOTE: Vendor Unloading/Set up is from 7:30am-9:30am. Vehicles will NOT be allowed on the property after 9:30am. Loading/Breakdown is from 8:30pm-9:30pm after the event closes and pedestrians are cleared out. Please bring your own cart if you arrive late since you will not be allowed to drive on the properties.

What is this festival for?

The Harvest of All First Nations 3rd Annual Corn Festival celebrates community, Indigeneity, land, and cultural reclamation through the Food Justice & Sovereignty Program Garden Harvests, Food, Music, and Educational Workshops.  Roots Resilience: A celebration of Indigenous Culture, Music, Dance and Food. How much does is cost to enter the Corn Festival?

Entrance is FREE but a $10 donation is encouraged to help raise funds to help continue future Corn Festivals and the programs of Harvest of All First Nations. 



What can I expect at the 2024 Corn Festival? How can I prepare for the day?

This year’s festival will take place at the Agricultural Heritage Center in Longmont, Colorado. This event is family friendly and attendees should expect an amazing full day of Indigenous centered and led music, workshops, panel discussions, and art and food vendors. In addition to these fun elements, there will also be animals to visit and horses to ride along with puppet shows, face painting and other activities for children and families. 


Lastly, and most importantly, this year’s festival features an exhibition Powwow featuring inter-tribal dancing to celebrate the diverse tribal cultures in the United States. 



What to bring:

  • Water bottle - We will have 5 water stations with extra cups on hand but please be sure to bring if you have your own!

  • Shades (Sunglasses, hats, umbrellas) - It could be really sunny so bring shades for you and your family to fully enjoy the festival!

  • Food & Snacks -  There will be plenty of delicious food vendors for you to purchase while you are at the event. We encourage you to support and experience different flavors and cuisines from community members. It will be a full day though so feel free to bring snacks if you or your child may need them. 

  • Phone - Be prepared to take photos or the day or call your friend to tell them how awesome the event is! AHC is also very large so if you are meeting friends, you may need to coordinate caravanning, carpooling, or meeting points!

  • Cash & Card - We encourage bringing some cash to support vendors that may be Cash-Only. Tickets for the festival will be both card & cash friendly.

  • Family Support Items - Don’t forget any diapers, medications, hand sanitizer, sunblock or sensory and physical support items you may need to help facilitate your experience (Hearing aids, canes, noise-canceling headphones, fidgets, etc). 


What NOT to bring:

  • Weapons

  • Pets (for service dog information, please read Accessibility section below)

  • Alcohol or drugs


Other notes

  • Due to fire risk in the area, there is NO SMOKING ALLOWED at the event. We appreciate your compliance for the safety of everyone!

  • This is a drug and alcohol free event

  • Waivers- All participants must sign a waiver before entering the event as part of the horse and land waiver


Horses - Horseback riding will be available to all ages, children and inexperienced riders will be able to ride inside of the designated areas of the AHC. Experience rides may ride with the wrangles around the Mcintosh Lake this will be a free and first come first serve service.


Who can participate in the festival?

This event is open to everyone but primarily designed to provide a joyful space for Native & Indigenous communities to celebrate and reconnect with each other and the land. We welcome all families, allies, and community partners to respectfully enjoy the festival. 


How much does the event cost?

The festival is free but we encourage a $10 donation to help support the festival.  Cash and credit cards are accepted for festival tickets at the gate. Please expect stripe machines at check in. Food and art will also be available for purchase.

Accessibility, Accommodations, & Family Support

We strive to host an inclusive, accessible event that enables all individuals, including individuals with  disabilities, to engage fully.

Bathrooms - There are six bathrooms located at the Agricultural Heritage Center and (4) porta potties will be available at the south entrance. Please note, that there is a small (2in)raised  lip to enter the bathrooms at the red barn. View map above for locations. Volunteers and staff will be present to assist if needed.


Private Breast feeding & Baby, Child, Dependent Changes - There will be at least one tipi available for families to change any dependents (ground level). Community Roots MidWife Collective will also have a vendor booth (non-profit section) available for breast-feeding or diaper changes. 


Accessible Parking -. We encourage those with mobility challenges or disabilities to arrive early if possible to reduce waiting times and park in the north parking lot (Ute highway). Parking volunteers will be available to direct and assist you at both lots. Please note, the south lot does have a longer walk to the check in table. 


Pathways & Grounds

  • This is an outdoor event so expect uneven pathways and grounds. All AHC buildings and trails are wheelchair accessible; however, the trails are gravel. 

  • Parking lots are dirt/grass. If assistance is needed to walk to check in, please notify a parking volunteer as you drive in.

  • There are ramps present to enter the red and brown barns and these buildings have wooden plank floors. The first doorway to the brown barn (cooking workshops) is not very wide but should meet ADA requirements. 

  • The festival grounds are located on a grass lot and may have holes or depressions that should be marked by small ground flags although not all uneven surfaces will be marked so stay alert and ask for help if needed! 


Sensory Stimulation - This will be a well attended event with families and children along with many vendors, DJ, and musical performances. Please expect louder volumes near the main stage and prepare necessary headphones or support as necessary. There is plenty of outdoor space and some indoor workshops and tipis for attendees to find a break from the noise or sun as well. 


Food/Bev -Water stations will be available around the festival grounds (see map). Please bring water bottles to refill. . Food vendors will be outside with meat and vegetarian options. Two cooking workshops will be available in the Brown Barn in the afternoon.  


Animals - Service dogs are allowed at the festival. Additionally, horses and other animals will be available to visit, pet, or ride
